Finishing was poor, defence was poor.
If it stayed 11 v 11, Wimbledon would of scored a 2nd goal.
Not sure if we could of got 2 back, knowing another goal conceded would knock us out.

Good post. We were always going to win playing like that. Light years from the West Ham we've had to endure over the years losing to every cunt in the cups. Last night may not mean much but it does bode well.
I'm starting to get the raging horn watching Anderson. It feels a little like watching Sir Trevor. Not the flashiest, but he's got that class and ability to make others play well around him. I'm liking Diop too.

Its' just a thought. I think Rice is a confidence player so at this moment in his development would benefit from someone beside him at centre back and I'm not sure he is mobile enough as a DM against the top sides. Diop looked like he has a natural confidence and looked like he has strength and pace and of course with a shot like that maybe he would be of use as a midfielder,

Apart from letting a goal in from a set piece I thought we played well last night.
I thought it was harder against 10 than 11, but here were a lot of positives to take from last night.
We had a game plan and stuck to it throughout he game; believed in it and kept playing.
There was no much space around their box but we kept finding little holes. On another day we could have scored 6.
Anderson looked very good (wait til Manu's back) and Yarmie did well too.
My only criticism would be the quality of the crossing.

You cannot read a single thing into last night's game it's a waste of time trying to do so. We won't know if the Arsenal showing was a turning point until saturday. My feel is that we will find it tough on Saturday due to a wide open defence and minimal goal threat despite the 100 mil outlay.
